Good power, good light, and the space to work properly. Our dedicated metalwork space suits everything from one-off builds to ongoing projects.
Members work across fabrication, sculpture, architectural metalwork, furniture, and specialist commissions.

We have a mix of shared and self-contained spaces that work well for prop makers, product designers, and other practical creative businesses.
The setup can adapt to different ways of working, whether that’s prototyping, finishing, small-scale production, storage, or project-based builds. Some members need space for tools and materials, others need room to think and make.

Yard Space
The Yard
One of Bristol Craftworks’ biggest assets is our yard.
We have a large outdoor space in the centre of Bristol, something that’s increasingly rare for a working workshop. It makes day-to-day life here much easier, especially for larger builds, assembly work, load-ins, and deliveries.
Members use the yard for laying out projects, testing and finishing work, storing materials, and handling awkward or oversized jobs.
The site also includes a number of containers used for storage by members and small creative businesses.
The yard is also where we hold occasional craft fairs, open days, and social events, bringing members and visitors together and making the most of the space.
