A cutting-edge
collective
in the heart of Bristol.
We’re a workshop community of woodworkers, metalworkers, jewellers and creatives in the heart of Bristol.
Our workshop is just one stop from Temple Meads, boasts high-end machinery, half an acre of yard space and a long-standing community of skilled makers.
Come say hello.

CRAFTMANSHIP
What we are
Bristol Craftworks is a shared workshop for serious makers.
We’re a community of skilled craftspeople, who work side by side, share space and collaborate.

-
Fabrication space with solid power, good lighting and shared equipment for clean, controlled metalworking.
-
Dedicated bench spaces in a separate unit with good lighting and quiet working areas for jewellery makers.
-
Alongside woodwork, metalwork and jewellery, we’re home to a range of other creative and technical practices, including product design, prop making and even small-scale audio work.
If your discipline doesn’t fit neatly into one category, get in touch. We’re happy to talk through what you need and whether the space is a good fit.
How We Work
Most of our members have worked together for years and we run as a collective.
The directors keep things ticking over, but decisions are round table, rather than top-down.
Our members take their work seriously, but we have fun while we do it. And we’re friends, not just co-workers.
Availability
Spaces become available every so often.
If you think we could be a good fit for you, get in touch to arrange a visit.
If there are no spaces, join the waiting list and we’ll be in touch when one becomes available.
