A community of professional makers and creative businesses

Bristol Craftworks is home to a diverse group of independent makers, fabricators, designers, and small creative businesses.

Our members work across wood, metal, jewellery, product design, and specialist crafts, sharing tools, knowledge, and a commitment to high-quality work.

Each brings their own practice and perspective, while contributing to a supportive, focused working environment.

How membership works

Bristol Craftworks operates as a small, established collective.

Spaces are limited and tend to become available only occasionally. When they do, we look for people whose working practices, standards, and approach fit well with the existing community.

Membership is based on:

Professional experience

Quality of work

Respect for shared space and equipment

Willingness to contribute to the wider workshop

We prioritise long-term members who are looking for a stable, supportive place to build their practice.

If you’re interested in becoming a member, get in touch to join the waiting list. We’ll let you know when a space becomes available.
